BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A teenager has died in the hospital after a crash reported in northeast Bakersfield on Oct. 19.
The California Highway Patrol said one of the female passengers who was in a vehicle that was traveling near Alfred Harrell Highway on Oct. 19 has died at the hospital.
Officials said all the passengers in the vehicle were 17-year-old girls.
A GoFundMe has been created for funeral expenses.
Officers were dispatched to Shadow Hills Drive near Alfred Harrell Highway, east of Fairfax, for a vehicle rollover crash around 7:55 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Investigation showed an 18-year-old man from Bakersfield was driving a 2020 white Toyota Camry on eastbound Alfred Harrell Highway in the #2 lane at 80 mph. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it veered to the westbound
