Clear Space, Rehoboth Beach to build new performing arts center

Clear Space Theatre Company and Rehoboth Beach have partnered to redevelop city-owned land into a $40 million, state-of-the-art performing arts center.

The agreement comes after, a few years ago, the city denied the nonprofit the right to build a new theater on Rehoboth Avenue, and Clear Space then began looking at potential sites outside the city.
