No charges to be filed in Rosehill Road family dispute that turned deadly

Fayetteville officials say no charges will be filed in the fatal stabbing of a Fayetteville man in August.

The Fayetteville Police Department said Brian Carter , 33, was stabbed around 11 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 4600 block of Rosehill Road and pronounced dead at the scene. Police said that an altercation among relatives inside a home resulted in Carter's fatal injuries. Police have not released the name of the person who stabbed Carter.
