CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. —
Police say a teenager stabbed at a Georgia Walmart has died from his injuries.
Officers responded Thursday to the Walmart on Highway 80 in Chatham County.
According to the Chatham County Police Department, an altercation occurred between two men, which led to the stabbing.
In information released last week, police said a "49-year-old man was exiting the Walmart with his shopping cart, when the 18-year-old kicked the shopping cart as he passed by. An altercation ensued that left the 18-year-old severely injured."
On Monday, CCPD confirmed the 18-year-old died from his wounds.
