GREENVILLE, S.C. —

A new timeline has been announced for a skate park and pump track in Greenville, South Carolina.

In September 2024, Greenville City Council unanimously approved leasing 10 acres of land off Airport Road from the airport commission.

At the time, the city said it had set aside $1.25 million for the Wheelsports Park, which also includes a spur connection to the Swamp Rabbit Trail's green line.

At a city council work session this week, it was said that the plans are progressing, with strong community support.

The council said public input for the park has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 16,000 survey responses.
