KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police Tuesday say they're investigating a homicide involving a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
A person is in custody and state police said there is no threat to the public.
Officers were originally dispatched to the report of a suspicious incident involving a firearm at a home on Pratt Road Monday evening.
Injuries were reported, but there was no further information released on the extent or how many people were injured.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, state police said.
