Patna (Bihar) [India], October 28 (ANI): With less than 10 days left for the first phase of voting in Bihar, Congress leader Pawan Khera on Tuesday accused the Nitish Kumar-led government of failing to maintain law and order, claiming that women and businessmen in the state capital do not feel safe.
Assembly elections in Bihar are being held in two phases, on November 6 and November 11. Counting of votes will take place on November 14.
"Women, businessmen do not consider themselves safe in Patna... There is no law and order situation in the state," he told ANI.
Responding to the Mahagathbandhan's manifesto released earlier in the day, Khera said all commitments are achievable if backed by genuine intent.
"If the intention is true, everything is possible," he said.
