A Glasgow west end baked potato takeaway, which opened five months ago , has gone up for sale.

Spuds, on Byres Road , opened its doors in May, offering punters a range of baked potato options. However, it is now on the market for £27,500.

The premises has 12 covers in its current layout, and there is a kitchen space, wash up and food preparation area.

There is also a staff toilet facility. The reason for the sale has not been confirmed.

According to Scottish Business Agency, the premises would be suited to a specialty coffee business, cafe, or lunchtime offering due to the high volume of students and passing footfall in the area. The annual rent is £15,000.
