A series of roads in Lenzie have been closed following a report of a "possible hazardous substance" being found at a property .
Larch Avenue, Moss Road and Gallowhill Road, between Moss Road and Larch Avenue have been sealed off by cops following the incident at a property on Tuesday (October 28) afternoon.
Emergency services are in attendance and the police have advised members of the public to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Larch Avenue, Moss Road and Gallowhill Road, between Moss Road and Larch Avenue, in Lenzie are closed following a report of a possible hazardous substance found at a property around 3.20pm on Tuesday, 28 October.
"Emergency services are in attendance.
"The public are advised to avoid the area."
