BRAINERD — When the girls' hockey season started Monday, Oct. 27, the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors welcomed a familiar face as its new head coach.
Former Little Falls Flyers head boys’ hockey coach, Tony Couture, will begin his first stint as a girls' hockey head coach. Couture is no stranger to the Warrior girls, as he coached the Brainerd goalies the past four seasons, which featured current college hockey goalie Erika Folden.
“We are excited to welcome Tony Couture as our new head girls' hockey coach,” Brainerd activities director Jack Freeman said. “Tony already has a very strong connection to the program, serving in an assistant role these past four years.
