MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- As November 1 nears, so does concern and fear for some as the Trump Administration has said no federal food aid will be issued come the first of the month.

This comes as the government shutdown stretches on, affecting millions across the country.

"It's needed real bad!" said Mary Wilson, Memphis resident.

Santerrica Davis brought her grandmother, Catherine Tyler to the mobile food pantry in the Cherokee neighborhood Tuesday morning.

"Cause they cut the stamps off, that's why we're in this line," said Santerrica Davis.

"Cause these little children, they can't feed themselves so you shut down, that means these kids, these little babies they can't eat and a lot of disabled people like me," said Tyler. "But it hurt a whole lot of people who are more disabled than I am."
