MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- One person was injured and another was detained after a shooting Tuesday night, Memphis police say.

At 6:45 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Biggs Street.

MPD said when officers arrived, one man was located and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

They said one man was detained, and this is an ongoing investigation.
