It was a long night for members of Weyburn City Council Monday night, with a long agenda, including the preliminary budget presentation.
The meeting began with four items on the consent agenda; the most recent Cash Activity Report, Public Works Report, Water Treatment Plan Report, and Fire Chief Report, were approved.
Council then moved on to confirm the city meets eligibility criteria for the Municipal Revenue Sharing Program, allowing it to be submitted by the end of January and approved six-month notices’ to be issued on 66 properties in tax arrears.
