BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - Election Day is one week away, and Binghamton voters will be choosing who will be Mayor come January 1.
Republican incumbent Jared Kraham took advantage of early voting on Tuesday, casting his ballot at the building that bears his late father's name, the Jeffrey P Kraham Broome County Public Library.
Kraham says he plans to continue knocking on doors during the evenings and weekends during this final week, all while continuing to run the city.
Kraham says he's running on his track record of lowering crime rates, building more affordable housing, and demolishing blight.
"I'm very confident in my record. I'm confident in the progress that we've made. I'm also emboldened by the voters of the City of Binghamton that have offered their support in this campaign
