The Halloween spirit is alive and well in Newark — and it’s hitting the ice.

The Patriot Ice Center is celebrating spooky season with its 6th Annual Halloween Creep Skate on Friday night, offering a fun-filled evening for families and skating fans alike.

The event will feature Halloween music, candy giveaways, glowsticks, and a rinkside photo booth, creating a family-friendly atmosphere for all ages.

General Manager Elizabeth Hollett Shackett says the celebration doesn’t stop there — the rink will keep the Halloween energy going all week long.

"We have a weeklong spirit week of Halloween spirit that is sponsored by the patriot figure skating club," Hollett Shackett says.

The spirit week's theming is as follows:
