FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Springdale man was convicted on Tuesday of multiple counts of rape and sexual assault, Washington County Prosecuting Attorney Brandon Carter announced.
Henry De Jesus Hernandez-Parada, 41, was found guilty of two counts of rape and eight counts. He was sentenced to a total of 60 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections and will be eligible for parole after serving 42 years of his sentence.
Court testimony and investigative documents revealed that in March 2021, the Springdale Police Department received a report from the relative of a child, who disclosed that her babysitter's boyfriend sexually assaulted the child.
