Over 2 million pounds of pork jerky sold at Sam's Club and Costco stores nationwide was recalled reports wiry metal was found in the product, the U.S. Department of Agriculture recently announced .

LSI, Inc. recalled approximately 2,277,540 pounds of a ready-to-eat Korean barbecue pork jerky product Friday.

The problem with the jerky was discovered after LSI, Inc. received "multiple complaints from consumers finding pieces of wiry metal in the pork jerky product," according to the USDA.

It was determined the metal came from the conveyor belt used in production, USDA said.

No injuries due to consumption of the product have been confirmed, however, the USDA suggests anyone concerned about an injury contact a healthcare provider.
