PITTSBURGH (WTAJ) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are swapping a sixth-round pick for Patriots safety Kyle Dugger in hopes to steady a shaky secondary.
The former 2020 second round pick gives the Steelers a strong tackler who has compiled 441 tackles across 81 career games. He also fills a void left by Deshon Elliott who has already been ruled out Sunday against the Colts with a hyper-extended knee.
Dugger is the second Patriots safety Pittsburgh has added this year. In Elliott's first stint on the injured list, the Steelers signed Jabrill Peppers.
