NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Rutherford County family is still waiting to hear from their daughter in Jamaica after they lost contact with her during Hurricane Melissa.
T.J. and Janice Jernigan last heard from their daughter Jazzy on Tuesday morning through videos she’d sent them as the storm was rolling in.
“When she sent them to us at first, they were mild enough that you kind of felt okay,” Jernigan said. “I think once you lose connection with her and then you see the videos that are happening from other sources and, you know, trees are blown down and those types of things are happening, that it’s a little more concerning.”
