Pune witnessed yet another frightening road mishap early Tuesday morning when a speeding truck went out of control and crashed into several vehicles near the Navale Bridge. The accident, which occurred around 5 a.m., left two people injured and caused major damage to three vehicles, briefly bringing traffic to a halt in the busy area.
According to the Sinhagad Road Police, the truck—loaded with floor tiles and travelling from Katraj Chowk towards the Navale Flyover—lost control midway. In a matter of seconds, the vehicle rammed into a ready-mix dumper truck and two cars ahead of it. The collision was so forceful that the cars were pushed several feet forward before coming to a stop in the middle of the road, leaving commuters shocked.
