DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Halloween is in sight and UMD is having an out of this world experience to get into the spooky spirit.

Back for the 7th year is Halloween at the Planetarium , an event that has planetarium shows every 30 minutes where guests are encouraged to dress in costumes and bring candy.

There will also be lively and creepy activities from other university departments fit for the whole family.

“One of our staples that we have every year is alien slime. The parents love it,” said Jessica Rogers, Director of the planetarium. “The biology department is brining hissing cockroaches. So we’re going to have a creepy cockroach corner. Some of my staff are not happy about that.”
