WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Brookfield man received his sentence Tuesday after pleading guilty to two counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving minor, a second-degree felony.
Nathaniel Thompson, 20, received five years of high-risk probation and was declared a Tier 2 sexual offender in Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas. As a sex offender, Thompson will be required to register with the sheriff’s office twice per year for the next 25 years, according to a news release from the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.
Thompson, who was the subject of a Brookfield police investigation into child sex abuse material, will also self-report to a program sponsored by the Volunteers of America, the release stated.
