HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) -- Hermitage is getting some help to learn about property conditions in areas of the city.
A survey is being done to collect data on major exterior code violations and document vacant structures.
The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation is helping with the survey. It will look for roof deterioration, collapsing porches or foundations and peeling paint or missing siding.
Hermitage has a housing rehab program with limited funding. The survey's goal is to get an understanding on what some of the conditions are in some of the older neighborhoods of Hermitage.
