One Owens Cross Roads family is putting their own twist on Halloween decorations, and it includes a railroad running right through their backyard.
Trains, lights, and tons of Halloween decorations have turned the Sweer family's backyard into a spooky little wonderland for the whole community to enjoy.
The Grant Funk Railroad is what’s called a “garden scale” railroad; it's smaller than a real train, but it’s big on creativity. The whole idea originated from Grant Sweer’s love for trains and his wife, Jenny's, passion for gardening.
Grant Sweer said, “The wonderful thing about this hobby is that it’s a little different; it’s the personality of the person that’s doing it. Each one of them is wonderful. They all have their special appeal about that.”
