LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Another full-time ambulance will be in service in Hardin County, Kentucky.

“This is a game-changer for our residents,” Hardin County Judge/Executive Keith Taul said on Wednesday. “After months of careful planning and listening to voices from every corner of our county—from White Mills to Radcliff to Sonora to Vine Grove—we’re thrilled to deliver the long-overdue support our communities deserve.”

He said the ninth full-time ambulance and crew will be at the newly renovated West Hardin Fire and Rescue station in White Mills, Kentucky. The West Hardin Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) raised $25,000 of its money to convert and upgrade its station to include living quarters to support and house an EMS crew on its site.
