MCLEAN COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — An employee with the McLean County Public Schools district has been arrested and charged with child sex abuse.
Records show Lloyd Vanover was arrested and booked into jail in Daviess County on Tuesday.
Online records show Vanover had been employed by the district as a custodian.
The school district shared a joint statement with the McLean County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, and said that the incident Vanover is accused of didn't happen in McLean County.
The statement says that Vanover has also been fired.
