AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - The City of Amarillo announced Wednesday that its website was unavailable due to a service outage with its hosting provider, Microsoft Azure.

As noted in previous reports, Microsoft said the outage Wednesday was caused by a DNS issue, which can result in widespread interruptions.

"We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as new information becomes available," said City of Amarillo officials.
