ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Election day is less than a week away and we wanted to check in on the race for Roanoke City Sheriff .
Roanoke City Sheriff Antonio Hash is up for re-election this year, but his opponent, James Creasy , is looking to become the new face of the department.
We spoke with both candidates about their backgrounds and how they intend to move the city forward if elected.
Sherrif Hash is a Roanoke native who is passionate about the city and its residents.
He’s worked in law enforcement for nearly two decades and has led the department for the last four years.
