JACKSON — Mayor John Horhn is encouraging Jackson residents to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink on Thursday, Oct. 30.

The initiative aims to honor survivors, remember those who have died from the disease, and highlight the importance of early detection and prevention.

Horhn is also inviting local organizations, schools, and community members to participate by sharing messages of support and prevention on social media using the hashtag #JacksonPinkDay.

“This show of solidarity reminds us of the strength of our community and the importance of standing together in the fight against breast cancer,” Horhn said in a statement.
