WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio —
More work is needed to finish emergency repairs on an overpass at I-75 in West Chester after a tanker truck caught fire Tuesday.
In an update Wednesday, the Ohio Department of Transportation said while Union Centre Boulevard remains open, more work is needed to complete the emergency repairs. Advertisement
ODOT said weather permitting, crews will return to the site Friday at 9:30 a.m. to complete necessary repairs, including replacing a culvert and placing the final surface course and complete striping.
Union Centre Boulevard and the left turn lanes on the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound Union Centre will be closed. The closure will remain in effect through Saturday afternoon or until work is done.
