BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - The growing need is apparent at the Bellevue Food Pantry.

“The line is literally around the corner and down the street,” Shirley Harbin, donor, said. “There’s a great need for assistance in our community.”

Harbin lives near the pantry and sees the impact of the ongoing shutdown in real time.

She, and others are donating to help neighbors as more people come in for help filling their shelves at home.

Phil Davidson, Bellevue Public Schools At-Large, visited the food bank recently and ran into multiple families in need within 10 minutes.
