Ever since Resident Evil Requiem was announced, fans have only wanted to know one thing: will series staple Leon S. Kennedy make an appearance? The ninth mainline game in Capcom's long-running series will star FBI agent Grace Ashcroft as its lead. Ever since its announcement, though, fans have been speculating that recurring RE star Leon will be playable in the upcoming title.

Sony may have accidentally finally revealed the answer months ahead of the game's release. A Portuguese-language listing for RE9 Deluxe on the PS Store, spotted by Dusk Golem on X , includes a special costume for Leon as part of the Deluxe version. This accidental leak is a pretty strong indication that Leon will appear in the upcoming RE Requiem as a playable character.
