A female Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Bhopal has been accused of stealing Rs 2 lakh in cash and a mobile phone from her friend’s house. The incident came to light after CCTV footage exposed the officer committing theft.

The case pertains to the Jehangirabad area of Bhopal. According to police, a woman named Pramila, who lives there with her family, had been friends for several years with the accused DSP, Kalpana Raghuvanshi.

Pramila told police that a few days ago, she had withdrawn Rs 2 lakh to pay her children’s school fees and kept the money at home. She later went to take a bath, and when she returned, she found that both the cash and her mobile phone were missing.
