KNOX CO., Ill. (KWQC) - Roads reopened in Knox County after closing because of crashes Wednesday night, officials say.
Knox Highway 12 reopened around 8 p.m., according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The road closed because of a crash in the 1500 block by the railroad tracks.
Illinois Route 41 reopened around 9 p.m., officials said. The northbound lanes were closed from Illinois Route 116 to Abingdon.
The crash was in the 400 block of the road and there people were trapped, according to a Facebook post .
Emergency crews were working on both scenes, deputies said.
