TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A crash forced the closure of parts of Valencia Road in Pima County on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said as of 7:30 p.m., Valencia was closed from Camino De La Tierra to Cardinal Avenue.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.

The intersection of Cardinal and Valencia had been a trouble spot this year.

On March 6, a person was injured in a hit-and-run crash.

On April 25, a motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle accident.

On Oct. 23, there was a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries.
