MAUMEE, Ohio — A second water main break has flooded the streets of Maumee on Wednesday.
According to the Maumee Police Division, a water main break near 7th Street and Richland Street. Police uploaded a video to social media at around 10 p.m. showing large amounts of water visibly covering the sidewalks and roadway.
Police stated residents in the area will experience reduced water flow. The water department is currently responding to the scene to repair the break.
Authorities are asking community members to avoid the area to allow crews to work on the repair.
The break comes just hours after a water main broke on West Wayne and West Broadway on Wednesday afternoon. Last Friday night the city also saw a water main break on Conant Street, near the Maumee Meijer.
