TOLEDO, Ohio — Who said water parks were just for humans?

Caninballz, a water park meant for our canine friends to enjoy all the fun of splashing around, is set to open its doors in Toledo next week.

The business, at 4256 Secor Road, said in a social media post that the city gave it the go-ahead to open to the public on Tuesday.

Alongside pools, Caninballz will also include a daycare and bath spa, although the latter is still under renovation. It will be open year-round.

"There are limited places where dogs can swim and never enough dog daycare in Toledo. That’s why I created Caninballz. A year-round destination where dogs can splash, play and socialize," Caninballz owner Millie Hopes says in a statement on the business's website.
