WHITEHOUSE, Ohio — When you love your family, you’ll do just about anything for them.
For Scott Thompson of Whitehouse, that meant turning his backyard into a haunted house, built entirely for his grandkids.
With stacks of wooden pallets, a few skeletons and a big imagination, Thompson spent four weeks creating a spooky homemade attraction packed with ghostly décor and laughter.
“I don’t think a lot of grandpas do this stuff for their grandkids,” one of his grandkids said.
Thompson, a grandfather of five, says once he gets an idea, he doesn’t stop.
“Once I get something in my mind, I just keep going and going,” he said.
