ASHEVILLE – City Council appointed members Oct. 28 to its four Tropical Storm Helene recovery boards, which will support the city’s ongoing recovery process with policy recommendations, input and help navigating post-disaster challenges.
The boards are divided into council’s strategic priorities: housing, infrastructure, economy, and people and environment.
Each board, of up to 11 people, includes council-appointed “at-large” members and designees from the city’s 13 pre-existing advisory boards, which will meet only on an assignment-based, as-needed basis through June 30, 2027.
