SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — It's a comfort many of us take for granted, but a local non-profit knows that there are plenty of kids in our area who don't have a comfortable bed to sleep in at night.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SIHP) is on a mission and just delivered 3,000 beds for families in Iowa.
The non-profit credits its success to the tireless efforts of numerous volunteers, whose dedication has made this incredible achievement possible.
"It's been a lot of hours of community volunteering," said the delivery manager at SIHP, Scott Holtz. "Just a lot of hard work and organizations on behalf of our chapter president. It's just a big community effort."
