PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Portland police are working to arrest a man wanted for violent crime in the Rocky Butte area of Portland on Wednesday evening, according to PPB.
Around 7:30 p.m., officers with the Portland Police Bureau tried to stop a driver wanted for a “violent person crime.” After he allegedly refused to stop, police spiked his tires and rammed him with their cars.
At that point, officers said the man ran from the car and hid in a yard near the Rocky Butte Natural Area in northeast Portland.
As of 8:30 p.m., officers had found the suspect and were speaking with him, but had not yet taken him into custody, PPB said.
