A 15-year-old boy was shot on his way to a bus stop in Pittsburgh's Stanton Heights neighborhood on Thursday morning.

Pittsburgh Public Safety said the shooting happened just before 7:30 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Stanton Avenue and Woodbine Street. The 15-year-old victim was shot multiple times in the chest and legs. Officers at the scene had to apply tourniquets to control the bleeding.

Neighbors said the teen was walking to his bus stop on Stanton Avenue when he was shot. One neighbor's security camera showed a car pulling up, people shooting at the teen and then driving off. That neighbor gave the police the video.
