A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting Thursday morning in Stanton Heights, authorities said.
The shooting near the intersection of Stanton Avenue and Woodbine Street occurred at about 7:20 a.m. Pittsburgh Public Safety said the victim had multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and legs.
Suspects drove away from the scene, police said. No description of the suspects or the vehicle they were in was provided.
The boy was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
