SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Halloween falls on Friday this year, and as we look back at some of our weather extremes, there’s been quite a range! The hottest Halloween on record was all the way back in 1925, when temperatures soared to 90°. On the other end of the spectrum, the coldest Halloween came in 2019, when the high only reached 53°.
Over the past five years, we’ve been spoiled with some warm Halloweens, with highs mostly in the 70s and 80s. But this year will be a different story. It's shaping up to be much cooler. The forecast calls for highs only in the mid 60s, something we haven’t seen on Halloween since 2012…13 years ago!
