Drawing students from construction, manufacturing and transportation classes, the London school worked to remodel the plane.

In the halls of Montcalm secondary school in London sat an old yellow plane, well past its prime – until transportation technology instructor James Patrick got to work.

The plane, a Cessna 150, was acquired by a former teacher in 2020 and had been parked in the school’s main hallway ever since, serving as a display for its aviation program. Patrick decided it was time for a makeover, and what followed was a two-semester transformation.
