SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas — A San Augustine County grand jury has indicted Justin Charles Eddins, a former Texas game warden who appeared on the reality television series "Lone Star Law," charging him with making a false statement to obtain credit.
Court records show Eddins faces accusations of making a materially false or misleading written statement to Southside Bank during an 18-month period from March 2022 through November 2023.
The indictment alleges he used another person's name and credit information to secure loans worth between $150,000 and $300,000, according to San Augustine County court documents.
Eddins' lawyer Bill Morian Jr., told 12News that, "this was a matter of misunderstanding, not a crime."
