CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County has opened the 2026 application process for its Community Arts Project (CAP) grants, offering funding up to $1,000 to support local cultural and arts organizations.
The foundation funds CAP grants to initiate or further a worthwhile project that encourages cultural/arts awareness among Harrison County residents.
The grants aim to promote the study/awareness of art, music and culture, to preserve cultural resources, and to further the appreciation for the arts.
Suggested projects and activities include public artwork for community beautification, production of a theatrical or musical work, public exhibitions, maintenance of historic properties and artifacts, arts appreciation programs, educational field trips to a museum, and
