Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a major Category 5 hurricane Tuesday afternoon. It made landfall in Cuba a little after 2 a.m. Wednesday as a Category 3 hurricane. It is now a Category 2 storm just north of the Bahamas.
