LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Capital Humane Society surprised 10/11 meteorologist Brad Anderson during Thursday’s noon newscast by naming a dog suite and cat colony after him at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center.
Matt Madcharo, executive director of Capital Humane Society, presented Brad with the honor during his final weekly pet adoption segment after 27 years on the noon show.
“To thank you for all the thousands of pets that you’ve helped find homes,” Matt said during the live presentation. “From the segments that you’ve been on over 27 years and obviously just promoting pet adoption to your audience over these years, that’s a lot of pets that have found homes.”
The named spaces at the adoption center include Brad’s photo and will remain permanently displayed to recognize his contribution
