The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman reported being pulled over by an unknown vehicle and assaulted early Thursday, October 30.

Deputies first received a Life360 crash-detection alert at approximately 6:29 a.m. near Highway 72 and County Road 605 but were unable to locate a vehicle at that location. Around 7:06 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Magnolia Hospital in connection with the alert.

At the hospital, a female driver of a silver Cadillac XT5 told deputies she had been stopped by an unknown vehicle displaying a blue light on the dash.
